AUSTRIAN CATHOLIC ACTIVIST TALK - STORY OF THE PACHAMAMA STATUES THROWN INTO THE TIBER RIVER

TIME:

February 25, 2023    7:00 PM

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Join us at Ivy Hall this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. to meet a courageous, zealous, and articulate young Austrian, Alexander Tschugguel, who is working to evangelize the secularized culture of Austria and beyond. He founded the St. Boniface Institute in Vienna which shares many of the same goals as the International Institute for Culture. Both were founded to re-evangelize culture by defending the Church, explaining her teachings, and fostering true Catholic devotions and liturgical celebrations.

The Institute is named for St. Boniface, who fought against the paganism in Germany in his time, striking down a pagan “sacred” oak at risk to his own life. He eventually became the primate of all Germany and was martyred for his faith.

Alexander Tschugguel gained some notoriety by throwing the pagan Pachamamma statues into the Tiber River and will tell us Saturday evening why he took the action he did.

The St. Boniface Institute and the IIC both struggle against the paganism of our day, the depraved “idols” of abortion, sexual license, and gender ideology by promoting marriage, family, and the inviolable dignity of the unborn child. We both struggle against a secularized world which has cast religion and believers out of the public square so that we can bring Catholic teaching to bear on the social order.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity!
