Event: Wednesday Evening Latin Instruction (two levels: beginners and adv. beginners)
 
In the elegant, leisurely setting of Ivy Hall, meet one evening a week to study the root discipline of Western culture and the Liberal Arts: Classical, Christian, Cultural, Conversational ­ all aspects included! Dr. Gerald Malsbary, Director of the Summer Latin Institute at Ivy Hall and Professor of Classics and Philosophy at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary will teach the advanced beginners’ course, building on last year’s progress in the Lingua Latina textbook (i.e., starting at Chapter 12). Newcomers are welcome and can either join this course or begin at the beginning with Dr. Richard Smith, recent convert from Anglicanism, skilled teacher, and medieval Latinist; Dr. Smith is currently Professor at Neumann College and teaches in the Summer Latin Institute at Ivy Hall.

Cost: $350 for eleven weeks of instruction: the textbook (Lingua Latina by Hans Oerberg) is available online
through Focus Publishing at R. Pullins Company.
